Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Management Accountant to work as part of the Gamma Business finance team in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Revenue reconciliation & analysis
  • IFRS 15 accounting adjustments
  • Management of credit note provisions
  • Cost of Sales analysis
  • Monthly accruals reconciliations
  • Reconciliation to revenue & margin report
  • Working with the billing team to analyse costs on an ongoing basis
  • Understanding the Gamma products to review costs at this level
  • Stock reconciliation – working with the procurement team to reconcile stock holdings at various sites & attending stock counts
  • Accounting for leases under IFRS 16
  • Capex analysis & forecasting
  • Preparation of month end journals for accruals & prepayments
  • Reconciliation of Contract Assets & Liabilities
  • Intercompany reconciliations & eliminations
  • Month end balance sheet reconciliations

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant with a solid understanding of core financial processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft D365
  • SQL experience preferable
  • Strong time management and task prioritisation skills to meet deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both finance and non-finance
  • Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Hands‑on approach to day‑to‑day accounting activities
  • Qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience of UK GAAP and IFRS
