You will be instrumental in developing the data platform for our cutting-edge Mobius Project - a new multi-model data lake designed to support every aspect of the business, from customer-facing applications and marketing to advanced AI agents and Machine Learning services. If you thrive on building scalable, resilient, and fully automated data infrastructure, this is the role for you.

- CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Develop, manage, and optimise continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate the rollout of infrastructure and services.
- Automation Service Development: Write, test, and support robust automation services and tools using either Python or Go to streamline data provisioning, access control, and life cycle management.
- Mobius Data Foundation Support: Collaborate with Data Engineering and ML teams to provide the reliable, resilient, and performant data storage layer required for the Mobius data lake.
- Technical Standards & Documentation: Contribute to defining and enforcing technical best practices, coding standards, and comprehensive documentation for all automated services and infrastructure components.
- Operational Excellence: Participate in the team’s on-call rota to provide responsive support, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement proactive improvements to enhance system reliability and resilience.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- DevOps Expertise: Proven experience with core DevOps methodologies and practices.
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Strong proficiency in using Terraform for managing infrastructure in a major cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- CI/CD: Good understanding and practical experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.
- Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to program in either Python or Go for developing automation and system services.
- Operational Mindset: Experience working within an on-call rotation and troubleshooting complex production issues.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with database deployment and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with data storage concepts and technologies (e.g., object storage, Apache Iceberg, vector stores, key-value databases).
- Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and service deployment.
Team and Cultural Fit
- Independent & Proactive: A self-starter with a strong drive to learn, experiment, and introduce new ideas and technologies.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams, from fellow engineers to business stakeholders.
