Job Description
As a Software Developer, you will contribute and scale a UI that populates a real-time event-based system. You will use React best practices to optimally support the performance of the UI. You will be joining the Offers team, within our newly formed Martech and PAM department. This is where you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a React UI that processes real-time data across our event-based systems. You will contribute to empowering the Business, quickly and easily creating new bonus mechanics, without relying on technical teams.
As a full stack team, we offer opportunities to expand your skillset and to work with Golang, Typescript, React, SQL and Kafka. You will gain experience with open-source technologies, deploying all systems and services to GKE. The day-to-day work is interesting, fast-paced and challenging amidst a hardworking and delivery-focused Company ethos. We value individuals with diverse technical skills, who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges and continue to push the boundaries of software innovation.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Qualifications
- Commercial experience within web clients or server-side development.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Apache Flink, SQL, Golang, React or Typescript, though expertise in similar or alternative technologies are welcome.
- Experience working in an environment with high volumes of change.
- Use of AI technologies for enhancing developer productivity.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to stakeholders across different areas of the Business.
- Experience with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Understanding of the development of automation and developer tooling such as Continuous Build and CI systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related field, or relevant professional experience.
