Senior Security Architect Location: London

At DXC Technology, we deliver mission‑critical services in a secure environment. We are looking to expand our platinum account team with a Senior Security Architect who will lead secure solution design and implementation.

Role responsibilities:

  • Architect solutions and technically lead their implementation, ensuring adherence to customer security policies and standards.
  • Work closely with the customer’s architecture team to develop solutions.
  • Assess security risks by identifying vulnerabilities and defining security requirements to address known and future threats.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policy standards to ensure compliance with customer security and legal requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support on architectural/technical issues to other team members as required, whilst sharing technical knowledge and experiences.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the DXC portfolio of security products and services, promoting best‑fit solutions to the customer.
  • Continually review and enhance existing knowledge of the security aspects of common product sets and technologies.
  • Apply “soft” consultancy skills and a proactive approach to gain the absolute trust of our customers.
  • Mentor and support team members to grow skills and capabilities.

What you will bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in a similar security‑architecture role.
  • Knowledge of key information security technologies and applicable controls.
  • Experience in information security consultancy, capturing requirements and formulating solutions.
  • Familiarity with security or enterprise architecture frameworks such as SABSA or TOGAF.
  • Experience delivering security architectures within broader enterprise or IS/IT architectures.
  • Understanding of standards, policies and legislation such as PCI DSS, COBIT, SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, JSP 440, CESG IA Portfolio, ISO 27001, etc.
  • Knowledge of threat and risk analysis methodologies and the ability to apply their output to security architecture.
  • Familiarity with NIST and related security principles, technologies and industry standards.
  • Experience with solutioning and bid work.
  • Experience with cloud and on‑premises development and security requirements.
  • Relevant industry or HMG security experience, where appropriate.

Desirable skills and technologies:

  • BSc and/or MSc in IT Security or a related subject, or relevant industry experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ Associate membership grade with CIISEC.
  • ICS2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP).
  • CESG Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) in Security Architecture or Risk Management.
  • Additional cloud security qualifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
