While this role sits within Organisational Effectiveness and offers the opportunity over time to lead across both organisation design and strategic workforce planning, the immediate and primary focus will be on leading the development and coordination of Heathrow’s Strategic Workforce Plan, ensuring the organisation is equipped with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver its long-term strategy. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring strong strategic workforce planning capability, with the ability to look ahead, identify how the workforce needs to evolve, and define future skills and capabilities, translating this into clear, practical interventions. While a blended skillset across workforce planning and organisation design is advantageous, the immediate priority will be to build, coordinate, and embed a robust, enterprise-wide strategic workforce planning approach. Please note this role focuses on long-term, strategic workforce planning and organisation design, rather than short-term operational resourcing.
