As Marketing & Communications Director for the Public Sector, you will lead CGI’s end-to-end marketing strategy across Government & Justice, Public Safety, and Government Relations. You will be responsible for aligning messaging, driving commercial outcomes, and ensuring CGI presents a unified and credible voice in the public sector market. You will also lead and develop a Marketing Business Partner team, ensuring all activity is aligned to growth priorities and delivers measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the public sector marketing and communications strategy aligned to business growth priorities
- Influence senior stakeholders on positioning, investment, and go-to-market strategy
- Drive pipeline growth, win rates, and overall commercial marketing performance
- Align messaging across Government & Justice, Public Safety, and Government Relations
- Develop thought leadership aligned to policy and sector priorities
- Build and lead a high-performing, commercially focused marketing team
- Orchestrate integrated campaigns, bid support, and engagement activity
- Use data and insight to continuously improve performance and decision-making
- Ensure all marketing activity delivers measurable commercial impact
- Significant experience in B2B marketing leadership within public sector or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks, and policy environment
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive-level decision-making
- Track record of delivering measurable outcomes (pipeline growth, win rates, revenue impact)
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong capability in integrated marketing, campaign delivery, and bid support
- Ability to translate market and policy insight into commercial positioning
