About this role

At JET, our partners are the heartbeat of our marketplace. We are looking for a Lead Product Manager (Individual Contributor) to spearhead the evolution of specific partner segments within our marketplace. This isn't just about maintaining a platform; it’s about radical innovation. You will be responsible for reimagining how partners interact with our ecosystem—ensuring they have the tools, insights, and seamless experiences needed to thrive in a competitive global market. As a Lead Product Manager, you will operate as a high-leverage strategic force, driving complex initiatives that span multiple domains and technical stacks without the overhead of people management.

Note: this position is a 1-year contract

Location: London (3 days a week from our London office and 2 days working from home)

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Drive Marketplace Innovation: Own the vision for the relevant partner journey. You will identify opportunities to reduce friction and introduce innovative features that help our partners grow their business on our platform.
  • Lead Cross-Domain Initiatives: Act as the glue across the organisation. You will lead high-priority projects that require seamless orchestration between Logistics, FinTech, Sales, Customer and Partner Product teams.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Navigate a complex web of senior stakeholders. You will excel at aligning diverse groups with competing priorities, ensuring everyone is moving toward a unified vision.
  • Data driven at scale: Define and track the North Star metrics for partner success. You will be laser focused on outcomes over outputs, helping the team to use data to prioritise, build, and refine our products and are familiar with turning analytics into insights.
  • Continuous Discovery & Innovation: Conduct deep-dive discovery with partners across different markets. You will translate their boots-on-the-ground reality into a scalable, global product strategy.
  • High-Level Prioritisation: In an environment of infinite ideas but finite resources, you will use a ruthless, data-backed approach to decide what drives the most value for our partners and our platform.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Proven Lead-Level Expertise: Extensive experience in Product Management, specifically within two-sided marketplaces or B2B partner ecosystems. You have a track record of delivering "zero-to-one" innovations.
  • Cross-Functional Mastery: You are a veteran of matrixed organisations. You know how to influence engineering, design, and operations teams that don't report to you to achieve a common goal.
  • Senior Stakeholder Diplomacy: You can hold your own in a room with senior stakeholders. You are skilled at "the art of the no," using evidence and empathy to manage expectations and align priorities.
  • Architectural Thinking: You understand the technical complexities of global platforms. You can discuss API integrations and scalability with Lead Architects while keeping the conversation focused on partner value.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: As an Individual Contributor, you are a self-starter. You don't wait for a roadmap to be handed to you; you build the roadmap based on market gaps and partner pain points.
  • Bias for Action: You are resilient and proactive. You thrive in ambiguity and have the "gravity" to pull disparate teams together to solve the hardest problems facing our marketplace.
