Manages collateral and margin activities on behalf of Vanguard funds, completing complex tasks, managing priorities, and analysing inputs to meet fund and investment operational objectives. Responsible for tasks in support of accurate calculations for a wide range of portfolios, including institutional funds, investment trusts, mutual funds, ETFs and other pooled vehicles.

Manages collateral and margin activities on behalf of Vanguard funds and ensures adherence to regulatory, market and counterparty risk requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Serves as subject matter and technical expert, identifies and resolves complex fund and investment operational issues.
- Manages and executes collateral and margin activity on behalf of Vanguard funds, maintaining internal systems and external counterparty relationships to ensure best outcomes.
- Leads process-improvement efforts, completes comprehensive analysis, and recommends solutions.
- Documents procedures across all fund and investment product types and leverages operational knowledge to aid in the production of gold-copy data and enhance output.
- Maintains communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues, overseeing research and implementation of complex process improvements.
- Executes daily operations, manages controls, and verifies completion of processes.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and proactively proposes solutions.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- Exposure to semantic modelling, metadata management, data governance, or knowledge graph technologies.
- Experience working within Agile product-delivery environments.
Hybrid – currently scheduled to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
