Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations & relationship management – ownership of the more complex weekly and monthly bank reconciliations completed accurately in line with month end timelines. Manage the relationship with the reconciliation provider (Aurum) to ensure any automation rules or any aspects of the reconciliation process are optimised within the team.
- Ownership of the creditor ledger – understand any aged or debit balances, proactively work to resolve issues and report back to the Reporting team on the status of these. This will involve working closely with the Junior Financial Accountant with regards to non‐trade related suppliers.
- Identify and resolve outstanding outputs – through the work done within bank reconciliations, work with the Supplier Payments team to ensure all statements are completed appropriately and are recognised within the ledger accurately – holding them accountable for resolving exceptions and closing out statements.
- Ownership of the company credit cards – liaise with employees on spend, limit changes and requirements ensuring that appropriate records are maintained.
- Review of invoice creation – ensure that invoices are recorded accurately and distributed in a timely manner.
- Manage Tourist board and Flight incentive debtors, providing regular updates to the reporting team.
- Ownership of other balance sheet reconciliations – ensuring reconciliations are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
