The health and safety of our customers is our number one priority. As we scale rapidly across a complex supplier portfolio, ensuring that any safety risks are swiftly identified, acted upon and resolved is critical. Our audit programme surfaces issues across our directly contracted suppliers and our ability to remediate those findings at pace is central to keeping our customers safe.
As Customer Health & Safety Officer, you will bring professional expertise and operational judgement to bear on a complex, high-volume supplier portfolio. You will assess audit findings, determine the level of risk they present, make informed recommendations to suppliers on how issues should be remediated and, where relevant, make confident, reasoned decisions to accept risk in a controlled manner where the evidence supports it. This is a role for someone who is comfortable owning those calls and standing behind them. You will report to the Customer Health & Safety Manager within the Legal & Compliance team. Your focus is operational execution, ensuring that risks identified across our supplier portfolio are tracked, chased and resolved at pace.
Your day-to-day:
- Issue Management & Remediation (Primary Focus)
- Review audit findings and assess supplier safety risks
- Manage remediation actions and track progress through to closure
- Conduct follow-up reviews and elevate unresolved issues where needed
- Maintain accurate audit records and issue tracking
- Audit Programme Coordination
- Coordinate risk-based supplier audits with external providers
- Maintain risk registers and monitor supplier risk profiles
- Prepare risk summaries and recommendations for management review
- Incident Investigation Support
- Support investigations into customer safety incidents and near-misses
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Track incident trends and support legal/CX evidence requests
- Supplier Liaison
- Act as the main contact for supplier health and safety matters
- Drive timely responses to safety concerns and remediation actions
- Support suppliers in meeting loveholidays’ safety standards
Your skillset:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk assessment skills
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and drive actions to completion
- Proficient with reporting, tracking and data management tools
- Understanding of health & safety or compliance principles
- Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working independently
Desirable:
- Experience in travel, hospitality, risk, compliance or auditing
- Health & Safety qualification (or working towards one)
- Experience managing supplier relationships or third-party audits
- Familiarity with incident investigation or root cause analysis
- Interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency and reporting
