Join our team at Sainsbury's as a Concept Graphic Designer and be part of shaping the future of retail through creative communication ideas and innovative store formats. With the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across both Food and Non-food categories, you will play a vital role in improving the shopping experience for our customers.
Your primary responsibility will be the development of creative communication ideas for New Retail Concepts and Formats. This will involve working on a wide range of projects across both Food and Non-food categories, where you will be involved in all aspects of Graphic Design, from Insight and Brief creation to final Design Concepts. Your expertise and experience will enable you to develop permanent Brand Communications that enhance the shopping experience for our customers in our stores.
You will also be responsible for managing external design agencies, specialists, and suppliers to ensure the delivery of creative solutions that set the future direction of our Brand in-store. With your skills and creativity, you will create compelling design briefs, manage and direct agencies and suppliers throughout the design process, and champion innovation based on data-informed insight and research.
Overall, your role will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and brand experience within our stores.
You are a highly skilled and creative professional with extensive knowledge of retail design trends and best practices. With experience both on the agency and client side, you have a proven track record of successfully delivering retail environments, influencing clients and management teams, and managing projects within timelines and budgets. Your proficiency in design software, production methods, and processes allows you to develop compelling design briefs, provide design support throughout the delivery process, and communicate clear principles and guidelines for the brand experience.
Your understanding of customer needs and ability to champion innovation and quality based on data-informed insight and research ensure that the future direction of our brand in-store is aligned with our brand standards. In this role, you will collaborate with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to create visually impactful and customer-centric designs that enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
