Your new role

  • You’ll support the delivery of the Data Protection team’s objectives, providing practical privacy advice and helping maintain effective privacy frameworks across European Operations.
  • Supporting the interpretation and application of privacy laws and regulatory requirements across European Operations.
  • Monitoring ongoing compliance with EO country and Lloyd’s privacy requirements.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of privacy risk controls, governance documentation and records.
  • Supporting the upkeep of Article 30 Records of Processing Activities.
  • Helping manage data subject rights requests in line with statutory timeframes.
  • Supporting Data Privacy Impact Assessments and other inbound privacy‑related requests.
  • Assisting with privacy reporting, including contributions to management, board and committee packs.
  • Helping ensure privacy notices, cookie banners and intranet content remain accurate and up to date.

About you

  • Experience in a privacy, compliance or risk role within a regulated organisation.
  • Exposure to GDPR and data protection regulations.
  • Background or experience within commercial insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
  • An interest in emerging technologies, including the use of AI in business processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability to manage routine and administrative privacy activities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
