Main Duties
- Repair, maintenance and calibration/verification of equipment within the manufacturing areas.
- Experience of environmental test chambers.
- Active involvement in cell layout design, installation and compliance.
- Lead equipment engineering problem solving with a proactive and continuous improvement approach to maximise availability, predictability and performance of manufacturing systems.
- Analysis and improvement of manufacturing processes and operating efficiencies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other engineers and technicians.
- Assist in department training and development plans; provide cross training for engineers and technicians.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and accurately document work to provide traceability and history of work.
- Participate in planning, installation, commissioning and qualification of new equipment.
- Conform and supervise conformance to all company and statutory safety regulations and practices.
- Be flexible with respect to shift rotation and overtime to support manufacturing needs.
- Must be production oriented and comfortable with changing circumstances and able to cope with a demanding workload.
- Support 24×7 call‑out rota.
Qualifications We Prefer
- HND in a related engineering discipline, with at least five years experience in equipment engineering.

- Technical knowledge of relevant equipment and processes.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work using a Maintenance Management System.
- Flexibility to work shifts if required.
- Team player, able to work unsupervised or as a team member.
