We are looking for a Senior Digital Web Analyst to join our e Commerce Data team. Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!

The Role

The Data Team enables the department and the business to elevate understanding of customer behaviours, marketing investment and sales performance - what is working and what is not by articulating actionable insights from complex data.

As a Senior Digital Web Analyst, you’ll work to understand on-site visitor behaviour & experiences, and highlight profit opportunities to the business.

You will analysesales, marketing performance and customer journey and provide actionable insights to drive the sales growth globally.

What You’ll Take On

  • Working with the relevant e Commerce teams (trading, marketing, data teams) to improve sales and conversion across both Web and App.
  • Participating in regular, in person discussions with the International trading team to align strategies and share insights.
  • Identifying sales opportunities through continuous review of site conversion, customer journey and commercial and marketing performance from Google Analytics and Heatmap data.
  • Interrogating and analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources - including customer, transactional online data and website metrics
  • Presenting complex analytical findings into clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate “so what” with actionable recommendations.
  • Designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting to track KPIs, campaign metrics and website performance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to communicate complex data and insights in a simple way to colleagues and stakeholders and hone in on key findings, whilst clearly and succinctly answering the “so what?” question.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into a measurement brief.
  • Experience working with web analytics tools (e. g. Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Heatmap tools) and marketing platforms (e. g. Google Search, Meta Business Manager).
  • Creating dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience extracting and manipulating data from denormalised sources using SQL, Biq Query and Databricks.
  • Confident using Google Sheets and Slides to manipulate and present data.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Web Analytics implementation and debugging methods.
  • Familiarity with session tracking and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience working on an ecommerce site.
  • Experience working across the retail or fashion industry.
