We're looking for a Senior Test Engineer to help drive quality across our Manheim Auctions Platform and wider Wholesale Transformation initiatives. The Role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of business-critical software products. Working closely with developers, product managers, and delivery teams, you'll design and implement robust test strategies, build automated test solutions, and help embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks.
- Creating and maintaining automated tests for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
- Performing exploratory, functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality is embedded from the outset.
- Identifying, investigating, and helping resolve defects quickly and effectively.
- Driving improvements in test automation practices, tools, and processes.
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced test engineers.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Senior Test Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or SDET role.
- Strong automation testing experience using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Commercial experience with C# and automated test development.
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestSharp.
- Knowledge of Docker, Git, and CI/CD principles.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum teams.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
- Performance testing experience using K6.
- Database testing experience.
- Experience supporting complex integration projects.
- Knowledge of risk-based testing approaches.
