Role Summary
The UKPI business continues to grow and with this growth the business and products are becoming more complex and increased duties and obligations. One of the increasing obligations sits within our offer governance function. Within the UK, the regulatory landscape continues to change and will continue to do so into the future, alongside these changing landscapes UKPI needs to continue to deliver new and evolving offers to meet customer needs. These combined developments increase the obligations for UKPI to demonstrate good offer and product governance, both for existing services and new and up and coming services. The UKPI offer governance function will operate across the platform, supporting direct and managed offers delivering ISA, GA, SIPP and investment products. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to understand more about our products, services but also the UK investing market and how to align to current and future regulations.
In this role you will do:
- Provides detailed analysis and assessment on offer impacts due to regulatory change or business change
- Support head of Governance to evolve and develop the governance framework
- Executes and ensures the governance tasks are processed with clear business outcomes
- Takes the lead on governance analysis to clearly map the business impacts and risks
- Support regulatory change and consultation responses leading with governance considerations
- Ensure governance framework remains current and effective as the business evolves
- Represent product governance at internal forums
- Represent Vanguard at external forums and working groups
- Works across work streams to ensure proposition and deliverables are aligned to the governance framework for safe implementation
- Provide oversight of third party suppliers directly impacting the products
- Understands the regulatory landscape for the platform to aid in the analysis work to complete and work with Stakeholders and Industry to clarify the impact of the change
- Works closely with the business to identify change identified through product governance, working across multiple work streams
What it takes – Beneficial but not essential:
- Relevant industry experience and qualifications
- Significant experience working within the financial services sector in a product governance role, working on SIPP, ISA and GA or Advice advantageous
- Experience working within the administration function in a financial services firm
- Technically strong to help shape the core components of product governance framework
- Proven track record in designing and evolving product governance frameworks
- Stakeholder management and strong communication skills
