Working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, AI specialists, and technology delivery teams, you will identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI, automation, and agentic workflows to improve operational efficiency, employee productivity, decision‑making, and customer outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping business requirements, driving change initiatives, and supporting the successful delivery and adoption of AI‑enabled solutions within complex, regulated environments. This is an exciting opportunity for Business Analysts who are passionate about innovation and transformation, while developing deep expertise across Capital Markets and the evolving AI landscape.

What You'll Do

  • Work with stakeholders across financial services and investment banking organisations to identify, analyse, and define AI‑enabled business opportunities, including Generative AI, Copilot, automation, and agentic workflow use cases.
  • Lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions to understand business challenges, define target outcomes, and translate opportunities into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Map, analyse, and optimise business processes, customer journeys, and operating models to identify opportunities for transformation, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Support delivery across the full project lifecycle, from business case development and requirements definition through to testing, UAT planning, implementation, and adoption.
  • Partner with AI engineers, architects, product owners, and delivery teams to support the design, development, validation, and rollout of AI‑enabled capabilities.
  • Contribute to Agile and hybrid delivery programmes through backlog refinement, sprint planning, stakeholder management, reporting, and governance activities.
  • Support responsible AI adoption by contributing to governance, risk, compliance, change management, training, and business readiness activities.
  • Analyse data, AI performance metrics, and operational outcomes to support continuous improvement and business value realisation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including third‑party vendors, to drive successful programme outcomes in fast‑paced, regulated environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, with strong exposure to Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Banking & Payments, Wealth & Asset Management, or Insurance.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering business and technology change initiatives across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder management, testing, and implementation.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting digital, data, automation, or AI‑enabled transformation programmes.
  • Understanding of AI technologies and the broader AI ecosystem, including Generative AI, GPT, Microsoft Copilot, agentic workflows, machine learning, NLP, and intelligent automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience interpreting data, identifying insights, and building recommendations.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, product operating models, and change management frameworks.
  • Understanding of governance, operational risk, regulatory considerations, and responsible AI principles within financial services.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience working directly within investment banking or capital markets organisations.
  • Previous consulting or advisory experience within a professional services environment.
  • Experience supporting AI product delivery, AI commercialization, workflow automation, or agentic AI initiatives.
  • Exposure to enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure AI, or similar ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, MLOps, AI governance frameworks, or model lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior Business Analysts.
  • Knowledge of project planning disciplines and broader programme delivery methodologies.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting, management information, or performance metrics to measure AI adoption and business outcomes.
