Provide first line maintenance of sites for all common issues/fault types within the Transmission network, meeting agreed service levels and team efficiency/quality targets, ensuring that we maintain our service to our customers. Supports delivery of project works both in and out of region.
Location: Travel required around North Scotland, Mounteagle, Dingwall, Durris, Aberdeen and surrounding areas

- Up to £45,000 base salary

Accountabilities:
- Complete diagnostic testing and resolve faults and service outages, minimizing the impact to customers, within policies and procedures
- Complete planned works and maintenance on the full range of systems and networks within the geographic operating environment
- Contribute to the delivery of projects through the provision of technical advice, installation and commissioning support and service transition support
- Maintain accurate records, documents and reporting of actions taken
- Maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the Arqiva Security Policy in order to protect individuals, information, and Arqiva assets
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operating policies, processes, and procedures
- Engage with customers and build positive working relationships
- Seek to upskill / develop to enable maximum benefit of preventing other truck rolls to site
- Generate maximum team efficiency through delivering bundled activities within skillset
- Supervise the delivery of 3rd party suppliers and contractors to ensure that specifications and standards meet Arqiva requirements
- Ability/ willingness to climb up to 60m to support structural inspections or remedial works
- Participate in 24/7 365 callout response as per the scheduled rota

Knowledge & Experience:
- HND or equivalent level 5 qualification OR relevant experience
- Confident and proficient with processes, standards and engineering practices related to corrective and preventative maintenance
- Comprehensive working knowledge of networking principles
- Comprehensive working knowledge and experience of fault finding and troubleshooting and the ability to communicate your findings within a team
- Comprehensive working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, Digital Television, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwave links, Satellite systems, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RF principles
- Comprehensive working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, telemetry systems, analogue and digital electronics
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- On a needs basis working away from home will be required
- Ability to partake in the proactive development of new Technologies and Equipment
- Takes ownership of own personal development to support business led opportunities
