The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.
We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, and a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching). Training and support for career development is provided. A UK Security Clearance, either existing higher level or willingness to obtain, is required for all roles. Applicants without clearance are welcome to apply for other opportunities.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure systems to keep our country safe.
- Supporting a rotation schedule to ensure reliability and availability of critical systems.
- Utilising a diverse set of tools to support a system, working with developers and testers to troubleshoot specific issues, including recreating tests, validating configuration, and automating elements of the software development lifecycle where possible.
- Facilitating Quality Assurance of the application set and deploying the application into traditional Infrastructure as Code environments such as Puppet and Kubernetes.
- Participating in Kanban and/or Scrum meetings to plan, prioritize and estimate work.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Understanding and Experience of Kubernetes, Argo, Rancher.
- Knowledge of Linux RPM / Yum.
- Puppet Developer Experience.
- Java, Go Language.
- Scripting Language (Python, Bash).
- Git/SVN Source Control.
