Your new role
- You’ll support the delivery of the Data Protection team’s objectives, providing practical privacy advice and helping maintain effective privacy frameworks across European Operations.
- Supporting the interpretation and application of privacy laws and regulatory requirements across European Operations.
- Monitoring ongoing compliance with EO country and Lloyd’s privacy requirements.
- Assisting with the maintenance of privacy risk controls, governance documentation and records.
- Supporting the upkeep of Article 30 Records of Processing Activities.
- Helping manage data subject rights requests in line with statutory timeframes.
- Supporting Data Privacy Impact Assessments and other inbound privacy‑related requests.
- Assisting with privacy reporting, including contributions to management, board and committee packs.
- Helping ensure privacy notices, cookie banners and intranet content remain accurate and up to date.
About you
- Experience in a privacy, compliance or risk role within a regulated organisation.
- Exposure to GDPR and data protection regulations.
- Background or experience within commercial insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
- An interest in emerging technologies, including the use of AI in business processes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
- Ability to manage routine and administrative privacy activities effectively.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
