As a senior new business leader, you will help position CGI as a trusted transformation partner, combining consulting, managed services, and IP‑led solutions to address complex industry challenges. As a Client Partner (New Business), you will be responsible for acquiring new enterprise clients in the Banking & Financial Markets sector. You will lead complex sales campaigns, shape high‑value opportunities, and convert them into multi‑service engagements. You will also act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, aligning CGI’s capabilities with client transformation goals. This role requires strong commercial leadership, deep sector expertise, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new logo enterprise clients and close multi‑service deals (6–7 figure engagements)
  • Shape sector positioning through thought leadership, campaigns, and industry engagement
  • Define target clients, map buying centres, and build senior relationships
  • Develop and manage a qualified pipeline (3–4× coverage) with accurate forecasting
  • Lead client discovery and co‑create value‑led commercial solutions
  • Coordinate Consulting, Delivery, and Alliance teams to build strong propositions
  • Maintain accountability for bookings, margin, and commercial governance
  • Apply structured sales methodologies and disciplined CRM management
  • Coach and support broader teams in new business best practices
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven success in winning new logo enterprise clients in Banking & Financial Markets
  • Consistent achievement of new business targets (100%+ quota attainment)
  • Experience closing complex 6–7 figure deals
  • Strong C‑suite engagement and relationship‑building skills
  • Deep understanding of banking domains (e.g. digital banking, payments, core banking, data/AI, cloud, cyber, risk & compliance, capital markets)
  • Strong consultative selling capability (discovery, business case, proposal leadership)
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with structured sales frameworks (e.g. Shipley) and CRM governance
