Here at CoreTech Security, our project portfolio consists of complex, security and research-led engagements where scope, direction and outcomes evolve as new technical findings emerge. We’re growing and hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our existing Project Manager team, within our commercial team. This role will be imperative to enable us to deliver quality outcomes and to maintain our exceptional client reputation.

You will be involved with running multiple projects and must be confident working within the realms of research and ever-evolving technical discoveries. You will have full end-to-end ownership of project delivery across a portfolio of security research and capability development engagements. This includes scoping and planning projects from inception and evolving a plan that reflects the research-driven nature of the work.

Throughout the project you will be expected to communicate with multiple stakeholders including our customers, the technical delivery team, our Account Directors and our wider supporting business functions. You will be working with our extremely passionate technical consultants, to enable them to deliver mission critical research and capabilities for our clients, putting in place the necessary measures to ensure effectiveness to identify any risks early and take the most appropriate steps to mitigate.

The projects will be varied and include multiple disciplines including vulnerability research, software development, hardware research, RF and production builds. They will also be at various levels of maturity from early-stage scientific research through to the development of high assured and in-house supported capabilities. Our project durations and team sizes are also varied and includes rapid research tasks lasting a few weeks, to longer engagements lasting 12+ months with larger teams pulling on skillsets from multiple disciplines all working to deliver a common mission aligned capability.

This role will act as a key interface between project delivery, clients and internal stakeholders so you will be expected to build strong relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.

Who are you:

  • You have significant experience in a Project Manager role working within the National Security, Defence or Law Enforcement industries.
  • You have worked supporting research-led projects where scope and directions of engagements can change.
  • You have experience of SAFe Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • You hold a DV clearance.

The role is based in our Cheltenham office. Given the close working relationships required with our technical teams and our customers we expect this role to be primarily office-based; the day-to-day nature of our work means being present and accessible makes a real difference to the quality of service we provide.
