Your impact: Do you have a good understanding of both the domestic and international defence and aerospace market? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leonardo Customer Support & Service Solutions (CS3) Sales Team. We develop support solutions across the air, land and maritime domains for the UK and export market. As an integral part of Leonardo’s Electronics business in the UK and overseas, our Support & Service Solutions help customers get the best possible performance and value from the equipment they own.
What you’ll bring: As the Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic growth of support contracts across the Electronics Division managing complex, high-value business winning opportunities. Our portfolio of products includes Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) Radars, Electronics Warfare (EW) sensors, along with Aircraft Platform Protection (APP) Systems for fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft. The role will include considerable external level engagement with platform primes, OEMs, and end users in both the UK and overseas. The candidate must therefore have excellent communication skills and be credible when engaging with customers to help shape and influence requirements. The role will require leadership qualities when dealing with senior internal stakeholders and when leading Integrated Campaign Teams.
You will have a good understanding of both the domestic and international defence and aerospace market, as well as experience and proven success in strategic selling and complex systems capture. You must also be comfortable undertaking accurate and well-informed market and competitor analysis. You will lead cross-functional teams to win business. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in Commercial, Capability, Programme Management, Engineering and Finance. To win profitable business, you will have broad exposure to the business, leading Integrated Campaign Teams in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Influencing skills play a key role, both internally and externally. You will be able to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels, including Embassies and Government Agencies that support exports.
