Private Equity Business Development Associates are responsible for driving growth by activating users across the Private Equity book of business on expert networks, content, surveys and advisory. They work directly with clients, seeking to understand their business priorities and identify the most effective ways to support them. They are responsible for onboarding new client users, demonstrating the value of Third Bridge, and stimulating client engagement with inactive users with our products and services. In partnership with the Client Services and Account Management team, they design and execute client engagement strategies in support of strategic account plans and evolving client needs. This role provides a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in business development, develop commercial acumen, and deepen your understanding of Private Equity.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and usage within your book of business by monitoring client activity and proactively engaging with new or inactive users to drive adoption of our products and services.
  • Introduce all Third Bridge products and services to new client users to ensure fast adoption and product stickiness from the outset of a client’s relationship with us.
  • Partner with Client Services and Account Managers to align engagement strategy to renewal objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities within your book of business, for example identifying new teams who could access Third Bridge’s products and services, cross‑sell opportunities, etc.
  • Support new client acquisition team with new stakeholder interactions and onboarding of new clients.
  • Consistently communicate and demonstrate our value proposition to end users, key stakeholders and decision makers across and in accordance with the client lifecycle, ensuring a solid understanding of how our products and services specifically support Private Equity clients throughout their deal cycle.
  • Build, develop and manage relationships with client users and key stakeholders with the goal of driving utilisation of their Third Bridge subscription, resulting in client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Identify approaches that address the client’s challenges leveraging qualitative and quantitative problem‑solving methodologies that serve to continuously improve client experience and client retention.
  • Conduct regular retention and risk analysis of client book of business that provides insights into performance and key client engagement metrics.
  • Originate opportunities to expand the user footprint within existing client teams, and for Account Managers to up‑sell and cross‑sell Third Bridge services.
  • Collaborate with Client Services and Account Management to identify root causes of client issues, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective resolutions.
  • Collect, analyse and share client feedback and market intel internally to all relevant stakeholders, including Client Services, Commercial, Product and Marketing.
  • Advocate internally for your clients, particularly for feature improvements across our product offering.

  • Demonstrable problem solving and client relationship building and management skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and growing accounts, fueled by a passion for delivering value to clients.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, prioritisation, problem solving, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to multitask and prioritise on an ongoing basis to manage both proactive and reactive work.
