About the role
The Transformation Manager will lead a delivery squad within the Supply Chain Improvement Programme, operating as part of the wider One ERP (EE SAP replacement) Programme. The Transformation Manager is accountable for delivering customer‑facing and supply‑chain‑focused initiatives over the next 12 months, turning programme priorities into measurable business and customer benefits.
The changes delivered through this role will help prove new capabilities in process, data and ways of working, acting as a foundation and repeatable template for the future full replacement of EE SAP. The role also supports the wider One ERP programme by ensuring delivery is aligned to the long‑term target state and will deputise for the One ERP Programme Manager as required.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead a delivery squad: Run and coach a multi‑disciplinary squad comprising business analysts and solution architects, creating clarity of purpose, pace and accountability to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Drive a prioritised transformation backlog: Own and manage the squad backlog, ensuring work is aligned to programme priorities, business outcomes and available capacity, and adjusting plans as needed based on insight and delivery progress.
- Deliver data‑led insight and recommendations: Undertake and oversee structured, data‑led analysis to build clear options, recommendations and delivery plans that support informed decision‑making at all levels.
- Identify further transformational opportunities: Review current business initiatives and end‑to‑end processes to identify opportunities for simplification, optimisation and transformation that support programme objectives.
- Build stakeholder alignment and buy‑in: Consult with the right stakeholders at the right time to secure input, accountability and commitment, ensuring plans are understood, supported and positioned for successful delivery.
- Provide high‑quality delivery governance: Track progress, manage dependencies and risks, and produce clear, insight‑led updates for programme and senior forums, ensuring transparency and confidence in delivery.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience delivering change within complex improvement or transformation initiatives, ideally within supply chain, Retail or business change environments.
- Demonstrable experience leading or coordinating a delivery squad or virtual team, including business analysts and solution architects, with accountability for day‑to‑day delivery, prioritisation and outcomes.
- Experience identifying and managing delivery risks, issues and dependencies, with confidence to resolve obstacles and escalating appropriately to maintain momentum.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Customer‑first mindset, ensuring transformation activity delivers improvements to service, reliability, efficiency or end‑to‑end customer experience, not just internal process change.
- Ability to review current ways of working/business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, optimisation and transformational change.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to build constructive working relationships across business and technology teams and gain buy‑in, accountability and input to plans.
