About the role
This role plays a key part in driving strategic alignment between BT and our key UKI cybersecurity partners. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing joint go-to-market initiatives, enabling partner success, and accelerating growth across key sales channels. This role is central to BT’s ambition to be the most trusted provider of secure connectivity and cybersecurity solutions in the UK. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and enablement teams to ensure our partner ecosystem is fully leveraged to deliver customer value, market differentiation, and commercial success.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute joint go‑to‑market strategies with strategic cybersecurity vendors and MSPs.
- Work closely with BT sales teams on joint account planning, co‑selling motions, and deal execution.
- Build and maintain strong, senior‑level relationships with partner stakeholders to drive mutual success.
- Lead partner enablement activity, including training, proposition launches, and partner‑led campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver effective demand generation and differentiated propositions.
- Track and report on partner performance, pipeline contribution, and commercial outcomes.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Proven experience in cybersecurity partner management or sales, within a vendor‑ or MSP‑led environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience constructing deals, supporting co‑selling motions, and working to sales targets.
- Experience developing and executing joint go‑to‑market strategies with vendors and/or MSPs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and challenge partners up to VP level.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex propositions clearly to sales, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience working with leading security vendors (e.g. CrowdStrike, Illumio, or similar).
- Background in advisory firms (EY, PwC, Accenture, Deloitte) or large MSPs operating at scale.
- Understanding of large, complex organisational environments and how to navigate internal processes and politics.
- Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Demonstrated ability to sustain partner relationships over time and contribute to long‑term partnership growth.
