The Digital Change Journey involves designing, implementing and ensuring the adoption of change across Digital to ensure that it becomes an enabler of BT driving change across both the ‘What’ and the ‘How’. The Digital Change portfolio specialist will provide the portfolio management of Digital change journey initiatives and their associated benefits. This role will support quarterly prioritisation and planning, assure delivery against plans through tracking of value driver performance and goal delivery. This role will embed ways of working and standards into the Digital change portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contributing to the Digital operational planning process and Digital change journey backlog creation and quarterly prioritisation and planning.
  • Lead the delivery of performance dashboards and portfolio dashboards – joined up with current transformation and value driver performance.
  • Track delivery of the Digital change journey and provide insight on variance to plans, issues, risks and dependencies.
  • Manage the governance framework and benefits realisation tracking in line with Group standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc support on complex analysis, studies and presentations for the Digital change leadership team, ensuring they are current, factual and accurate.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to deliver transformation objectives, using escalation paths where necessary.
  • Role model the BT behaviours and be an active advocate and champion of the Digital cultural change activity.

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Change management expertise - 2 to 5 years experience of portfolio management, project management or PMO.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Communication: strong presentation and communication skills; able to translate complex topics into simple and meaningful messages.
  • Collaboration: ability to work successfully in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Coaching experience and systemic cultural change experience desirable but not essential.
