Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of modern Azure data platforms, helping clients transform complex data into valuable business insight.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, engineers and architects to create secure, scalable solutions that support long-term growth and innovation.
  • Help shape cloud strategies, promote best practice, mentor colleagues and contribute to technical leadership across CGI's growing data community.
  • Design scalable Azure data architectures.
  • Develop enterprise data strategies and roadmaps.
  • Build secure, high-performing data platforms.
  • Drive data governance and best practice.
  • Implement CI/CD and modern data engineering approaches.
  • Collaborate with clients and technical teams.
  • Mentor and support colleagues.
  • Contribute to bids, innovation and solution design.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Strong Azure data architecture experience who enjoys solving complex challenges and working collaboratively with clients and delivery teams.
  • Experience as a Data Architect within enterprise environments.
  • Strong data modelling and database design expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Azure security, governance and compliance.
  • Experience designing scalable cloud data platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
  • Azure AI or Data Scientist certification.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
