Solutions Architect - SAP in Manchester

The role involves joining the Finance Transformation programme as a Solution Architect – SAP to be the data migration lead and play a key role in defining, designing and delivering the target data design. You will work across the programme and a diverse internal and external stakeholder base, including a specialist S/4HANA implementation partner. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with senior stakeholders, shaping business and technology solutions, designing and re-engineering processes, and helping drive enterprise-wide change. You will oversee and execute the data migration activities to architecture design principles, architectural approaches, and best practices. You will provide data leadership to the programme, approving master data designs within the approved scope which meet the sanctioned business requirements, and revised designs subject to change requests. Acting as a critical link between executive stakeholders, business and technical teams, you will ensure solutions are regulatory compliant, feasible, and deliver measurable business value. This role covers the full implementation from Explore through to post go-live stabilisation.

To be successful in this role, you should be an experienced and strategic SAP Data Solution Architect proficient with both SAP data technology tools and the associated master data objects across the S/4HANA target landscape. You must have detailed technical knowledge of data governance, data migration, and start to finish experience of an ECC to S/4HANA full transformation. Additionally, you should possess the ability to interact, influence, and build consensus with senior stakeholders, along with excellent interpersonal, networking, presentation, and communication skills, and be commercially astute.
