Locations: Glasgow/Edinburgh (must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis).

AI

  • You’ll be expected to responsibly adopt AI‑assisted engineering practices—such as GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo, and similar tools—for code generation, testing, documentation, and analysis.
  • Understand model limitations, protect client data, and improve delivery quality and speed through pragmatic automation.

SRE & Observability

  • Bring a reliability mindset to delivery, designing services that are operable by default and measured through meaningful SLIs/SLOs.
  • Help teams implement pragmatic observability—logging, metrics, and distributed tracing—with actionable alerting.
  • Contribute to (or lead) incident response and post‑incident reviews that drive learning and measurable improvements.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Strong experience with the AWS cloud platform and core services.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (build, deployment, and operational support in production).
  • Proven use of Infrastructure as Code, ideally with AWS CDK.
  • Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) within Agile/DevOps teams.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices.
