Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for commercial ownership of complete seat programs.
- Negotiate series projects and contracts with customers from Buyer to Senior Management level.
- Customer relationship management – OEM Buyer / Purchase Manager / Lead Engineers / Module Leaders / Piece Cost Engineers / Vendor Tooling Cost Engineers.
- Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues with timely conclusion.
- Manage sales account with P&L responsibility, cost and pricing management and profitability ownership from project inception through to SOP.
- Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics.
- Deliver engineering change quotations in line with agreed customer timeline.
- Maintain internal reporting.
- Support business case approvals.
- Report out program commercial status to senior level.
- Follow up on aging debt/driving cash‑in collection in line with forecast dates.
Key Skills And Qualifications
- Experienced automotive tier 1 Account Manager – ideally with a background in complex, high value commodities.
- Highly developed commercial acumen, a motivated self‑starter and willingness to take the lead.
- Experience in tracking price changes, maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts.
- High level communication and organizational skills.
