Full-time, fixed-term contract, minimum 35 hours per week at our new kiosk, Asian Corner, Morrison's Preston Riversway, Mariners Way, Preston PR2 2YN. We are looking for a Sushi Chef Manager. This role involves managing the kiosk and team during morning shifts, preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. The position requires early start times, often at 6 am, and a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
  • Accurately label products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift
  • Be a skilled multitasker in a fast‑paced environment
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safe environment for customers, clients and staff
  • Clean workspace and storerooms as required
  • Organise and forward plan tasks
  • Be accountable for the kiosk and team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
  • Ensure the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to provide a safe environment for customers, clients and staff
  • Be an early riser as shifts can start at 6 am some days
