We are seeking a talented and innovative 服装设计 (Fashion Designer) to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualising and developing unique clothing designs that align with current trends and brand identity. Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and develop original clothing designs in line with seasonal themes and market trends
- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas effectively
- Select appropriate fabrics, colours, and materials for each collection
- Collaborate with pattern makers and sample makers to ensure designs are accurately realised
- Conduct research on current fashion trends, competitor collections, and emerging styles
- Attend fittings and review prototypes to make necessary adjustments
- Maintain organised design records and documentation throughout the development process
- Present collections to stakeholders, including marketing teams and potential buyers
- Stay updated on industry developments, fabric innovations, and sustainable practices within fashion design
Skills
- Proven experience in fashion or clothing design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles
- Proficiency in sketching, illustration, and technical drawing software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Excellent understanding of fabrics, textiles, colour theory, and garment construction techniques
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative flair combined with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Good communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to team members and clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
