We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with expertise in Terraform and Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, automation, testing) to support the design, implementation, and governance of a scalable Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and CI/CD automation, ensuring best practices in reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage Terraform templates and modules for repeatable, secure, and scalable deployments.
- CI/CD & Automation: Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML) for infrastructure and application deployments, incorporating testing and validation processes.
- Azure Governance & Compliance: Define and implement policy-driven controls, governance frameworks, and security best practices across Azure environments.
- Networking & Security: Design and configure virtual networks (VNets), security policies, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute), ensuring resilience and secure traffic flows.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage RBAC, Azure Entra ID (formerly AAD), Key Vault, and Managed Identities to enforce security and access controls.
- Resilience & Performance: Optimise workloads using availability zones, load balancing, global traffic distribution, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitoring & Operations: Implement Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Service Health alerts for proactive performance tracking and incident resolution.
Skills & Experience Required
✅ Expert-level knowledge of Terraform and Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines).
✅ Strong background in Azure cloud architecture, including networking, security, and automation.
✅ Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, and infrastructure deployments.
✅ Experience implementing Azure governance, security policies, and best practices.
✅ Proficiency in network design, connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), and traffic management solutions.
