About The Role
Due to continued growth in the School, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance (Teaching Focused) to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of our undergraduate and postgraduate finance programmes. You will teach across a range of modules in finance, both in-person and through distance learning, while supervising student dissertations and supporting curriculum innovation in a research-informed teaching environment.
You will also contribute to the School’s scholarship agenda through various outputs and engagement activities. The role involves programme design, student support, quality assurance, and academic leadership. There are opportunities to participate in enterprise initiatives and external collaborations, providing a platform for impactful contributions in finance education and enhancing the School’s profile nationally and internationally.
About You
You should have recognised expertise in finance, supported by a completed PhD or significant professional experience. Recent experience delivering finance modules at university level and a commitment to pedagogical excellence and innovation are essential. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to contribute to teaching quality and curriculum development are required.
