Investment Manager
Our client is a leading National Private Equity House specialising in investments into the mid-market, small to medium sized enterprises. Due to continued growth within their investment funds they are looking to expand their Midlands team with Investment Managers.
For the role of Investment Manager this organisation is considering the highest calibre of individuals with exceptional academic records with an impressive career to date coming from a commercial or strategic background. This maybe from some sort of Strategic Consulting environment, a highly strategic and commercial role within a Private Equity backed business, or indeed from the Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Corporate Restructuring arena with an ACA qualification with around 3-6 years post qualified experience, maybe more. They will also consider Investment Director level individuals too.
As Investment Manager will come into a broad role involving:-
- Deal origination and marketing.
- Assessing business plans and potential investment opportunities.
- Negotiating investment terms with potential investment opportunities.
- Ensuring a sound business case for profit is present in an investment.
- Preparing Investment Committee proposals.
- Completing due diligence – including legal, financial and commercial.
- Completing legal documentation.
- Portfolio management with regular review of progress against plan and dealing with problems if they arise.
- Assisting portfolio companies with their exit strategies.
- Managing more junior members of the team.
