Position Purpose
This position will be part of the Broad Based Compensation team and has responsibility for execution and administration of the Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) compensation programs, including:
- Compensation including base pay
- Long and short-term incentives
- Job evaluations and pricing
- Allowances, One-time payments
Key Responsibilities

Conduct job evaluations and market pricing.

Analyze market data, trends, and internal equity to ensure competitive positioning.

Test annual compensation planning, system implementations, and enhancements.

Participate in annual salary surveys (local & regional).

Support global and regional compensation projects and programs, influencing, educating and collaborating with stakeholders.

Monitor legislative changes and industry trends, proposing solutions to stakeholders.

Maintain local market expertise, ensuring detailed process documentation on:Collective agreements and local grading structures.Allowance plans and market-specific compensation programs.

Advise global teams on EMEA market requirements, proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, formulate solutions, seeing solutions through to completion.

Resolve Total Rewards inquiries requiring specialized knowledge.

Ensure compliance and governance of compensation plans, participating in audits.

Recommend improvements to systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent professional qualification, required
Required Experience and Knowledge
- Proven experience and expertise in Compensation
- General knowledge and understanding of HR policies, processes, employment laws and total rewards legislative requirements for the relevant region.
- Practical operational experience of other HR processes, e.g., talent acquisition, payroll, performance
Required Competences
- Demonstrated analytical abilities, attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities.
- Ability to network across a global organization to align with organization objectives and strategy to operationalize and deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset
Ideal Candidates will also have
- Experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environment
- Ability to use business judgment when assessing requirements and performance to identify the right solution to meet business needs
- Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model
- Experience working in a rapid, fast-moving environment which is both complex and changing
- Compensation specialty certification to demonstrate theoretical understanding and application of HR practices
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and convincing way to stakeholders
