Job Description
A long-standing client of mine is now looking to add to their work winning team. This Bid Team lead role is an exciting one. They have recently been involved in a major merger which has opened many new avenues for the business. The group now offers an unparalleled range of services, including planned maintenance, responsive maintenance, fire protection, electrical services, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and refurbishment.
This role will involve leading a small team of bid writers and focusing on continuous improvement while ensuring the highest standards of quality control across all bid submissions. You will be responsible for overseeing key opportunities, reviewing, and refining strategies to maintain our competitive edge. In addition to team leadership, you will manage the bid process for key tenders, developing and executing winning strategies from start to finish. Collaboration with operational leads and other stakeholders will be essential to ensure a smooth process. You will also work closely with other bid team leads, sharing knowledge to align with group goals and bid strategies.
The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented leader with a passion for fostering a high-performance, winning culture within the team. Experience and knowledge of the social housing sector will be a key advantage, as will the ability to inspire and motivate the team to deliver outstanding results.
