(including London weighting) Contract: Permanent Hours: 36 hours per week Location: Civic Centre and other locations as required Working Pattern: Hybrid (standard is 3 days in the office) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: * Conducting assessments and interventions in line with statutory requirements and best practice. * Managing complex and sensitive cases, ensuring that individuals and families receive the necessary support to achieve positive outcomes. * Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to deliver integrated services. * Providing safeguarding support and advice, ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals is maintained. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. * Participating in regular supervision and contributing to the ongoing development of service delivery. * Promoting a strengths-based approach, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their lives. Essential Criteria: * You must have successfully completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) in a relevant social work field. Only candidates who have completed their ASYE will be considered for this role. * Hold a Social Work degree (BA, MA, or equivalent). * Registration with Social Work England. * Experience of working with individuals or families in a statutory social work setting. * A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners. * Ability to manage complex and varied caseloads while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
