Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the clubroom food and beverage operation ensuring amazing customer service and product delivery at all times.
- Maximise all revenue opportunities and profitability in line with the company business plan.
- Maintain the highest possible standards of Health and Safety and customer care.
- Ensure that all food and drinks are made and served to company standards.
- Motivate, inspire and lead the team to deliver strategic objectives.
- Suggest new revenue opportunities through emerging food trends or seasonal promotions.
- Communicate regularly with members to obtain feedback and understand their requirements.
- Maintain and develop stock control systems to ensure products are always available.
- Ensure upselling practices to maximise secondary spend opportunities.
- Adhere to company financial regulations in payment processing, reconciliation and invoice processing.
- Assist the General Manager in staff training and development.
- Act as Duty Manager ensuring safe and efficient service for guests.
- Act as key holder for the Club when required and manage building opening/closing.
- Undertake any other duties as may be required by the General Manager.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Catering or related subject.
- First aid certificate and Food & Hygiene certificate.
- Strong knowledge of the leisure or related industry in a medium sized enterprise.
Personal Characteristics
- Eligible to hold required licences on behalf of the Company.
- Build strong relationships with customers, clients and employees.
- Communicate at different levels of the organisation, both listen and direct.
- Meet the demands of the role by working additional hours when required.
- Demonstrate competency in current I.T software programs, such as Google.
- Maintain good employee relations and deliver quality training.
- Supervise and motivate staff.
- Work from additional locations if required.
