ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Event Logistics Assistant, you will be working closely with the entire operations team to deliver the events to the highest quality of event delivery across all operational components, internally and externally facing. You will be contributing to show budgets and operational plans for each event. This is an entry level position for someone looking to start their career in events. It will give a flavour of lots of different positions and opportunities to build up skills by learning from some of the best operations professionals in the business.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Work alongside and assist the Senior Logistics Manager and Logistics Executive to deliver the event plan from pre-show planning to onsite delivery.
- Support Sponsor Operations team with sponsor communications including inbound and outbound messaging and onboarding calls.
- Assist with speaker communications and administrative duties.
- Have an understanding and application of the show budgeting system including managing the raising of purchase orders.
- Support with project administration tasks or ad-hoc support when required such as updating website with speaker details, auditing spreadsheets and managing incoming queries
- Provide operational advice and assistance to the sales, content and marketing teams.
- Manage the running of the Organiser’s Office throughout the show tenancy
- Continually provide the best possible customer service for our customers and stakeholders
