Plan, organise and structure operational resources to successfully fulfil customer orders
Stabilise operational teams and resources including, picking, packing, assembly, finishing and manufacturing to ensure KPIs are achieved and maintained
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards focussed to consistently provide exceptional quality products and services
Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
Manage, lead, and develop staff
Implement production systems, processes and disciplines including but not limited to planning, scheduling, and sequencing to ensure best use of resources and on time delivery of Customers’ orders
Implement industry leading manufacturing practices covering all manufacturing, finishing, assembly, packing and shipping functions.
Budget and cost control
Schedule production and assembly activities and the outcomes to comply with QA and OTIF requirements.
The Candidate
Minimum five years of proven success in a similar production management role
Is a proven engineer and has worked their way up from the shop floor
Experienced in various manufacturing techniques such as machining, metal finishing, metal finishing, coating and spraying
Has successfully led improvement projects in job lot production environments with significant demand
The Package
Offering up to £75,000 per annum plus an extremely competitive benefits package.
