JSS are proud to partner with a leading brand within the fresh produce market to search for a Commercial Account Manager to join their growing team.
Job Description:
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Based: Luton (hybrid)
In this role you will report into the Commercial Director to provide day to day account management of customers (national retailers), support commercial decision making and ensure the execution of group marketing campaigns.
You will manage all retailer relationships, building and relaying customer reports, gathering market information for customers, co-ordinating customer seasonal activity and communicating retailer needs to the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of all key retail accounts.
- Helping to co-ordinate retailer queries and requests, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Managing and supporting with regular and ad-hoc customer reporting and project work.
- To act as direct cover for the Commercial Director.
- Making sure important customer information is shared amongst the relevant teams.
- Visiting supermarket stores to produce a competitor price and quality report.
- Liaising with the order processing team with regards to order amendments.
- Overseeing rejections, shortages and over deliveries by liaising with the appropriate teams.
- Co-ordinate information and brief the business, with regard to customer seasonal delivery requirements.
- Attending customer meetings when required.
- Co-ordinating meetings and customer visits, where required.
- Overseeing marketing opportunities and managing the Group’s presence on social media.
- Supporting the growth of all revenue channels across new and existing retailers.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience within retail commercial or account management
- Ability to work autonomously or as a team; and work proactively
- Good personal organisation skills and time keeping
- Confident speaking to customers and to colleagues
- Willingness to take calls and answer ad hoc queries at weekends
- Ability to build good working relationships with customers
- Full driving licence
