We are expanding our Water team and are looking to hire in our Croydon, Exeter, Manchester, Sunderland, and Swindon offices.
Role overview
Based in any of our offices—Exeter, Croydon, Manchester, Sunderland, or Swindon—you will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team of around 90 Engineers and Technicians. Our offices are known for their friendly and supportive work environment, fostering personal development across a wide range of interesting projects. You will be part of our Water Sector Team, providing design expertise in collaboration with major UK water companies including South West Water, Severn Trent Water, Wessex Water, Thames Water, Southern Water, United Utilities, and Yorkshire Water. Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will join an established team of Civil Engineers, supporting multidisciplinary design schemes to deliver projects within the Water sector. You will also support motivated Engineers and Technicians in their development.
Projects vary in size and complexity, involving optioneering, outline design, or detailed design. Work may be directly for water companies or via contractors as part of design and construct contracts.
Your duties will likely include:
- Performing technical or professional activities to ensure delivery meets client requirements and standards
- Collating plans and schedules, monitoring work to meet deadlines and quality assurance standards
- Liaising with clients and third parties as needed
- Promoting health, safety, welfare, and environmental sustainability in all work areas
