Join our team as a Transport Coordinator at Bridgwater Depot. We are hiring a Transport Coordinator to join our team at the Bridgwater Depot within the Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution Business.
In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a key part in coordinating transport operations that deliver value and ensure compliance.
- Contract: Full-time / Permanent
- Location: Bridgwater Depot
- Shift: Day shift 0600 – 1800, 4 on 4 off
- Salary: £33,007.41
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily milk plan for direct ex-farm deliveries and reloads.
- Manage and allocate resources for the daily cream delivery schedule, ensuring delivery windows are agreed and achieved. Notify Trading of any plan changes.
- Manage and allocate resources for collection/delivery schedules, ensuring delivery windows are met. Notify Trading of any plan changes.
- Monitor turnaround time performance for milk and cream schedules.
- Manage daily backload schedules, ensuring the most cost-effective routes are used.
- Allocate subcontractor haulage support for reload operations.
- Supervise onsite fuel bunkering deliveries.
- Manage vehicle swabbing data, reporting, and escalate OOS results.
- Support all functions including admin, driving, and management as needed.
- Assist with compliance systems and gather evidence for audits.
- Understand the impact of actions on site/business OGSM and the bottom line.
- Participate in site audits, DTAS, and risk assessments.
- Implement contingency plans when required.
- Engage actively in KPI reporting.
- Communicate professionally with all contacts.
