Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Technical Administrator to join our Recipe Technical team within our Food Technical department for a 12-month fixed term contract. This team ensures that every weekly menu meets food safety compliance, prevents critical errors, and aligns with Gousto’s style before recipe cards go to print.
This role is ideal for an organized, detail-focused individual passionate about food safety and quality. You will review and update recipes within our recipe library and support continuous improvements in nutrition and food safety. The position is based at our Warrington office on a hybrid basis (1 or 2 days a week).
Core Responsibilities
- Review and update recipes for accuracy, safety compliance, and brand standards
- Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with Recipe Development, Menu Planning, and Supply Chain teams
- Manage and maintain the recipe library, ensuring information is current and accurate
- Approve ingredient substitutions, maintaining recipe integrity and updating Customer Care
- Ensure cooking instructions comply with food safety regulations and reflect Gousto’s tone of voice
- Conduct food safety checks, including allergen and dietary compliance
- Address customer and internal feedback on food safety and quality
- Perform root cause analyses to prevent errors and support improvements
- Participate in initiatives to enhance food safety, sustainability, and customer health
- Engage in professional development related to food technology and safety
