Retail Cleaner

Overview

Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury\’s Kendal store on a permanent basis. 12 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Current shift pattern for this role: Sunday 06:00 to 12:30; Saturday 05:00 to 11:30. There is potential to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as needed
• Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

What you will need

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
• Smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App (required for time and attendance)
