Digital Engineer (BIM Coordinator) – Birmingham
About the role
Dalkia Engineering has a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Engineer to join our Technical Team in the South. You’ll be part of a vibrant technical community committed to technical excellence, continuous improvement, and smarter delivery.

We have multiple offices across the South Region, so this role can be based anywhere from the Midlands down to the South Coast including locations such as Birmingham, Oxford, Reading, London, Bristol, or Southampton.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the delivery of Digital Engineering (DE) outputs across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones and client expectations.
- Implement and uphold ISO 19650-compliant processes, embedding Dalkia’s digital standards and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on design changes that impact the digital scope, maintaining accurate documentation and version control.
- Coordinate building services models, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines and accurate spatial planning.
- Manage the integration of Contractor Design Portions (CDP) into federated models, ensuring full compliance with client and project requirements
Who we’re looking for
- Relevant qualifications such as an HNC, HND, relevant degree or honours degree, NVQ, or equivalent certification in a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Revit Coordinator in one or more of the following sectors: Healthcare, Commercial, Education, MOD/MOJ, or Leisure environments.
- Sector experience in one or more of the following: Healthcare, Commercial, Education, MOD/MOJ, or Leisure environments.
- Proven experience working on large-scale projects in a similar digital/BIM role.
- Professional registration or active progress toward it with a recognised institution such as CIBSE, IET, IMechE, or a similar engineering body (Member, Incorporated, or Chartered status desirable).
