Electrical Contracts Manager Job Description:
Snowdon Recruitment are working with a leading Facilities Management company who are looking for aElectrical Contracts Managerto come in and oversee the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and general electrical and fire alarm works. This role involves managing teams, liaising with clients, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the high standard of service expected by the company.
Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Contracts Manager:
- Lead the Technical Team in delivering electrical and fire alarm maintenance, ensuring all PPMs, reactive maintenance, and remedial works are completed to the required standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and suppliers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, submitting all required certifications and completing remedial works as needed.
- Generate quotes for works, considering time, materials, and subcontractor needs while adhering to safety and legislative standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to technicians, subcontractors, and the management team.
- Support business development by contributing to tenders and winning new contracts.
- Conduct site audits and inspections, ensuring high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Manage materials and budgets effectively to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
- Travel to various sites as needed to complete assigned tasks.
