Recycling Site Supervisor
Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Recycling Site Supervisor to join the expanding team of our well established recycling and waste client based within Bedford (MK44).
Hours: Monday to Friday: 7.00am 6.00pm
Pay rate: £13.40 per hour
Duties and responsibilities:
To supervise a small team.
To assist in the completion of risk assessments.
To conduct regular safety and environmental inspections.
To ensure housekeeping is of a world-class standard and the site is visit and audit ready at all times.
To champion Health & Safety / Environmental Statutory and Company Rules & Regulations.
To work closely with the Maintenance team to ensure that all plant and equipment is cleaned, maintained and serviced to a high standard and repaired in a timely manner.
To ensure that planning of operations is completed to a high standard and that all planning is in line with goods in and dispatch requirements.
To communicate and work effectively with all peer managers and departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
Experienced in managing people.
Hands-on approach to work.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Resilience under pressure and ability to meet deadlines.
Motivated and proactive attitude.
